My Big Wanderlust was a BIG hit, pun not intended. Or intended. Let's just say it's intended. 🤣

Crocheters all over the world love it. The textures, ever-changing rows, and beauty of it made it one of my best sellers almost immediately. But, there was a small dilemma. It was big(thus the name), which works great for lots of people, but a few wanted a smaller version. Whether it was because of their tension, hair/size, etc.

So, I got to work on a smaller version. After I cut off all of my big hair, I needed a mini version, too.

I kept all of the beautiful boho and cottage core style stitching, added one or two more rows of it, used a lighter yarn (bamboo/cotton works amazing!), and made sure to add in a gauge, so that it became the perfect mini version. And so, the Mini Wanderlust Bandana was born!

I do warn you though, this bandana pattern is ADDICTING. Just ask any of myself and any of my pattern testers. Once you make one, you won't want to stop~ They don't take long to make (around 2 hours for me, but I do crochet fast). They are great sellers if you sell your crochet at markets, festivals, or online, and they make wonderful gifts! I feel like there Christmas + birthdays are always around the corner!

What you need for it:

3.5mm Hook/E - BUT a few of my testers have tighter tension than me because I crochet VERY loose, so they ended up using a bigger hook and blocked/steamed their project afterwards to make it perfect.
Light Weight 3 yarn! I used a few different ones, but my favorite was Lion Brand Coboo. One of my friends got me onto it. WARNING - it splits super easy and is annoying to work with, BUT the bamboo/cotton blend is so soft and breathable that the end result is worth it. I may not use it for a bigger project, tho!

I made the written pattern FULL of clear and bright pictures to help you step by step with the pattern. I also created a FREE YouTube Video Tutorial for it as well! It pairs great with the pattern in case you want/need extra help to visualize what to do. It's great practice if you want to learn to start reading patterns as well!
